Technological innovation, design vision and passion: a winning formula that has always distinguished Sanlorenzo, present again this year at the Monaco Yacht Show scheduled from 27 to 30 September 2023.
Exploring new concepts of liveability on board, looking to a future which is increasingly driven by the requests of yacht owners. Among the quays of Port Hercules will be the protagonists 57Steel and Alloy, two superyachts that reconfirm Sanlorenzo's ability to innovate while remaining true to its core, in the constant search for a balance between the drive to innovate while remaining consistent with the brand's history.
57Steel
A superyacht with balanced and elegant lines notwithstanding its 1050 GT tonnage, 57Steel exalts the purity of form that has always been the hallmark of Sanlorenzo's style/which has always been the hallmark of Sanlorenzo. The result of an intense process of experimentation, this ambitious project was realised in collaboration with Studio Zuccon International Project for the exterior architecture, while the design of the interior spaces was entrusted to Piero Lissoni. World Wide Premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023, the new 57Steel features an innovative layout that alters the traditional configuration of the spaces on board: the wheelhouse area, normally forward of the upper deck, has been relocated to an additional deck, allowing the area to be used to house the owner's cabin, a 55-square metre space overlooking the large Owner Deck, a private deck from which it is possible to look out across the horizon, freeing the gaze to lose oneself in the waves.
"The 57Steel is a creature of a new generation, a boat that enjoys a very intricate mixture of spaces. At the design level, this yacht thinks in architectural terms: spaces that open up, vertical elements that dialogue and, of course, I couldn't help but include one of my staircases. Again, it is not simply a staircase, but a kind of twilight zone, an intermediate space between many different places. I hope that the owners continue to climb up and down this staircase as if they were in a dream. The boat tells many stories, it is very creative between the interior and the exterior, at a certain point you almost don't understand where one begins and the other starts."

The new redistribution of spaces that distinguishes the 57Steel has also made it possible to create a spacious full-beam VIP cabin at the bow of the main deck and to create an impressive 150 square metre beach area, thanks to the opening of hatches on three sides, which become beaches at the water's edge. The decision to place the garage at the bow has also made it possible to create a large space equipped to accommodate tenders of up to 7.5 metres. The unprecedented layout of the 57Steel makes it possible to accommodate a large gym area of 30 square metres, complete with a sauna totally dedicated to the owner's wellbeing and relaxation.
Alloy
Imaginary spaces become reality by redesigning environments and creating new solutions and changes of perspective. Alloy features the owner's cabin, conceived as a true private suite on three levels. The design was realised to maximise liveability on board: located on the main deck, in the vessel's wide body area, the owner's cabin consists of a sleeping area, a lounge on the mezzanine level and one on the upper deck, a versatile indoor study area, and a large open area on the bow complete with sundeck, Jacuzzi and relaxation areas. More intimate spaces combine with areas devoted to conviviality: Alloy is divided between spaces exclusively available to the owner and spaces dedicated to guests: from the four double cabins on the lower deck, to the sun deck, to the large beach club that also hosts a gym and an outdoor platform flush with the water thanks to the folding sides and transom that open to allow a full connection with the sea. A completely new concept and project developed by the Sanlorenzo team, who entrusted the creativity of the Zuccon International Project studio with the design of the exterior lines and the development of the concept. The interiors of the superyacht Alloy exhibited in Monaco are designed by German firm Ash.
Innovative volumes and proportions characterise 57Steel and Alloy, which will share the space with SP110, an advanced, evolved and revolutionary proposition that has opened a new chapter in the yachting sector as it is capable of combining green sensibility with unique comfort and unparalleled performance. A pioneering model, the first yacht in the smart performance range, SP110 is the result of the collaboration of a team of professionals at the highest levels of their individual skills: Bernardo Zuccon for the exteriors, Tilli Antonelli for product development at Sanlorenzo, Marco Arnaboldi for the hull design, Piero Lissoni for the interiors.
The Sanlorenzo models will be joined by the Bluegame newcomer presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the BGM75, the first model in the new BGM range with which the Sanlorenzo Group brand enters the multihull segment.
