Yachts Miami Beach, the city's in-water luxury yacht show, will introduce a new layout for the 2017 edition whcih takes place from 16-20 February on Collins Avenue opposite the magnificent Fontainebleau and Eden Roc hotels.
Formerly the Yacht and Brokerage Show, Yachts Miami Beach will transform Collins Avenue into a multi-million dollar display of the world's most extraordinary yachts and superyachts from leading designers and builders. The show covers over 1.2 million square feet over a mile-long strip of Indian Creek Waterway, featuring over 500 new and resale yachts plus all the latest marine products, services and accessories, valued at over $1 billion.
The show has also added a stunning new Superyacht Miami location at Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island to accommodate deep draft vessels up to 500 feet.
New layout for 2017
Co-owners of the show, Show Management and the Florida Yachts Brokers Association (FYBA) wanted to deliver a more engaging environment for exhibitors and guests and engaged leading design company EDSA to reimagine Yachts Miami Beach. Previous projects in EDSA's portfolio include Atlantis in the Bahamas, the John F. Kennedy Center and several Disney leisure resorts.

Spanning over a mile along Collins Avenue from 41st to 54th Street, the show's new layout will highlight the beautiful waterfront location along Indian Creek Waterway. Attendees will enter via five entrances, each with attractive wayfinding graphics and an information booth. There will also be a new nework of floatng docks serving food and beverages in a friendly and picturesque environment.
These new features are designed to create an interactive and inviting sales environment for exhibitors and buyers, with yachts arranged in new and resale sections, making it easier to locate specific boats.
For the first time ever, guests can also arrive at the show via free water taxis located near parking lots. From the north, the water taxi service embarks from the Miami Beach Rowing Club on 65th Street, with parking available at the 67th Street parking garage. From the south, guests can park at the 17th Street Miami Beach Convention Center and take a shuttle to the water taxi at 24th Street and Collins Avenue at the Traymore Hotel dock. A bus shuttle service is also available from the 17th Street Miami Beach Convention Center to both Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show on Virginia Key.
Valet parking is available at 43rd Street and Collins Avenue, closer to the valet garage, and taxis and Uber services are located at 46th Street and Collins Avenue. The shuttle bus service runs all day between Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show.
Entry to Yachts Miami Beach is $20 per person per day and opening.
Note: Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show are two separate boat shows, both taking place during Presidents Day weekend.
Shuttle busses run between Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show from bus stop 6 on Collins Avenue (44th St and Collins Ave). The Miami International Boat Show is open from 9am - 8pm daily.
