With 1,923 exhibitors from 68 countries, including 1,085 international manufacturers, boot Düsseldorf took off last Sunday in 16 halls of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center.
Five minutes before the start of boot 2018, Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Pinkwart, Minister for Economics, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia, Mayor of Düsseldorf Thomas Geisel, boot Düsseldorf president Robert E. Marx and Messe Düsseldorf director Werner Matthias Dornscheidt cut the ribbon and gave the starting signal for the 49th boot Düsseldorf.
From 10:00 o'clock sharp, visitors started pouring into the exhibition halls. In addition to the lovers of motor boats, luxury yachts and sailing boats of all sizes, many families now use boot Düsseldorf for a day trip into the fascinating world of watersports right in the middle of a wet and cold January outside. A great variety of activities are on offer, such as paddling on a 90-meter long river in Hall 13, testsailing and test diving in Halls 14 (sailing) and 3 (diving), research stations for children as well as and older ocean lovers at the love your ocean area in Hall 4, or even casting a fishing rod in the Sportfishing Center in Hall 13.
