Less than a month after three new models were teased at the Miami Yacht Show, Ferretti Group has released full details of its forthcoming Custom Line 106 yacht, which is due to launch before the end of the year.
Following on from the recently launched Custom Line 120, this 32.3 metre design is the second to come from a new partnership between the Ferretti Engineering Department and the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio.
Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, said: “The Custom Line 106 marks another step forward to form a comprehensive range for owners who want sizeable spaces, cutting-edge technological solutions, style and comfort.”
The proof of this promise comes in the form of 220 square metres of interior floorspace and the yard’s patented dual mode transom system, which will allow the Custom Line 106 to launch a 5.45 metre tender and a three-person Jet Ski, before being easily converted into a superyacht beach club.
Moving forward and the Custom Line 106’s foredeck spans a total of 36 square metres, offering storage space for a 2.8 metre Williams Jet Tender or an additional Jet Ski.
Other key areas include a superyacht sundeck that measures 53 square metres and offers respite from the midday sun via an integrated hardtop. Bimini shades or canopies can be specified to extended the shaded al fresco relaxation space.
“As is plain to see in various places, efforts have been made to break down the boundaries between the exterior and the interior,” added Francesco Paszkowski. “The new technical solutions and all of the aspects of the exterior and interior lines are closely interlinked, as they are all parts of a single architectural arrangement with perfect balance between the forms and functions.”
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests split across five cabins, including a main-deck master suite that measures 6.5 metres wide and comes with an optional fold-out balcony. Below decks, two VIP cabins and two twin cabins with Pullman berths complete the guest layout. The interior décor aims to balance formality with distinctive colour contrasts, while the entertainment system can be controlled via iPad.
Power will come from a twin MTU diesel engine set-up, which is available in two versions, the most powerful of which offers an estimated top speed of 26 knots. Electro-hydraulic stabilising fins and gyroscopes will ensure a smooth cruising experience, both underway and at anchor.
