 CONCEPT

The first model of the green series by Filippetti Yacht is called Navetta 26.

This 26 metre yacht, design by Pietro Mingarelli, inaugurates a new series of eco-chic boats designed with environmentally sustainable criteria: displacement hull, soft, rounded lines, reduced emissions and consumption, large fuel and water autonomy.

 Comfort in sailing and respect for the environment are the founding principles of the Navetta 26, dedicated to an owner who has an ecological life style and who wishes to contribute to environmental protection.

The Navetta 26 is certified “GREEN YACHT STAR” by the RINA (Italian Ship Registry), a noble accreditation that guarantees environmental protection and energy savings.

 GREEN PHILOSOPHY

 The Navetta 26 has been designed in an ecological and eco-sustainable manner, complying with rigorous principles of environmental, safety and quality regulations, without ever losing sight of the tastes of the owner.

Specific rules were followed in the design and in the choice of systems in order for the boat to be approved by RINA with a Green Yacht Star. Some examples are: reduced emissions propulsion engines and power generators, exhausts that do not mix gases with seawater, eco-compatible anti-fouling paints and refrigerant gas, advanced treatment of the sewage and grey water, systems for the limitation of fuel spillage and differentiated waste disposal. 

 With 20,500 litres of fuel and 3,150 mile range, Navetta 26 guarantees ten days of continuous navigation: long and relaxing cruises in harmony with the sea and with minimal environmental impact.

 LIGHT AT THE FOREFRONT

On board the Navetta 26, the other undisputed protagonist is light, found everywhere, thanks to the large side windows and the unique port holes that decorate the boat.

In the owner's cabin the windows run 180 degrees toward the bow and guarantee an ample view of the external panorama.

 LAYOUT

1. INTERIORS

The Navetta 26 has two decks. It is elaborated on three main levels - upper deck, lower deck and fly-bridge and two intermediate levels - the owner's cabin and the wheel house.  The main deck foresees an original, net division of the space: half is dedicated to the owner and half to guests.

The Navetta 26 includes 4 cabins, 3 of which have king size beds.  The owner's cabin forward on the main deck, is two steps above the salon: a position which guarantees the greatest outward visibility and privacy for the owner. The head of the bead is turned toward the stern, so that, in this way, from a reclined position one may enjoy the voyage and the view.  In the cabin there are also a comfortable dinette, a lift unit with a 32” TV and a 42 litre mini fridge.  Descending the stairs another space is reached.  The bath is illuminated by hull windows and from light coming from the cabin above.

The galley is found a step above the salon and is equipped with an outside entrance for the crew.  From the galley an ample pantry with freezer and refrigerators is accessed.

Amidships, below decks, the VIP cabin takes up the entire beam of the boat, on both sides, it has port holes.

Crew members enter from the stern through a separate door which directly accesses the crew quarters, where there is another galley with food heater, a dinette and two separate cabins for 3 or 4 persons.

 EXTERIOR

In the stern there is the garage door, commanded by an electro-hydraulic command unit, which rotates into a horizontal position creating a broad private swimming platform with direct access to the cockpit and provided with a stainless steel swim ladder.  Inside of the 'garage' a tender of up to 4 metres in length and a large jet ski may be stowed, besides all the other equipment for water sports.  The volume of the 'garage' is about 20 m³.

The side passages of the main deck lead to the bow,fitted with a large sun deck with a double-U” shaped panoramic settee so as to create a circle.

The fly deck is accessed from the cockpit or from an internal stair.  Ascending from the inside, on the right there is the wheel house and on the left, three steps up, the vast solarium.  The fly deck has: a bar, a dinette, a Jacuzzi and a sun deck to the stern, and a dining area which may be covered by an awning.  A sliding door separates the wheel house from the external deck.  In this way the commander will not "disturb" the guests on the fly-deck during night time navigation.

 ENGINES

Propulsion of the Navetta 26 is entrusted to two engines each with 662 kilowatts (876 horsepower).
