Sunseeker’s 'Manhattan 68' will make its show premiere at BOATS2020 an alternative event to the cancelled Southampton International Boat Show.
The 21.1m long Manhattan 68 has been designed to offer exceptional levels of comfort and luxury with incredible detailing. Features include an expansive cockpit, main saloon area with sumptuous lounge seating and a fully-equipped aft galley.
The flybridge has been designed with an integrated hard-top option in mind and features large forward sunbathing areas and a second helm. It also has a wide bathing platform suitable for launching a Williams Sportjet 395.
Sean Robertson, sales director at Sunseeker, said; “Sunseeker are delighted to confirm our participation at this year’s BOATS2020 event in September with six boats from 50 – 95ft in our on-water display as well as a luxurious land based hospitality suite.”
95 Yacht
The Sunseeker 95 Yacht will be the largest boat on display at BOATS2020. Measuring 28.6m in length and 6.55m in beam, the 95 Yacht can accommodate up to ten guests and up to four crew members. With a streamlined yet spacious elegance, the 95 Yacht combines a superyacht feel with many practical advantages. It features an MTU engine up to 3,900 PS and has a 12,000-litre fuel capacity It can reach 26 knots and has a large 1,400 nautical mile range.
Alongside the Manhattan 68 and the 95 Yacht, Sunseeker will also display the Predator 60 EVO, 76 Yacht, 74 Sport Yacht and the Predator 50.
British Marine is delighted to announce that Southampton International Boat Show Ltd will present BOATS20202020 at Mayflower Park, Southampton from 11 –20 September 2020. British Marine has continued to work tirelessly with Southampton City Council, exhibitors and key event stakeholders to find a way to deliverthis event on behalf of the industry and to support its members.Extensive work has been carried out in close collaboration with Southampton City Council to stage the event and ensure that BOATS2020 presented by Southampton International Boat Show Ltd meets Public Health England COVID-19 secure requirements. The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) have also confirmed that the event plans fall within current Government guidance. British Marine, as a not-for-profit organisation, has been working extremely hard to set this event up to support the sector following the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Exhibitors who now want to join in must fully commit to the event by Friday 7 August in order for the marina to be built and all other operational details to be fulfilled.

This event is aimed at the serious boat buyer and enthusiast, keen to see and buy the latest models and equipment available. To date an impressive 78 boats from 30 brands, including Princess Yachts willbe located in the purpose-built marina, alongside over 40 land-based exhibitors of related marine equipment. British Marine have worked with key stakeholders to develop a detailed set of enhanced measures to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety at this show. These measures will focus on four cornerstones; Social Distancing, Cleaning and Hygiene, Protect and Detect and Clear Communications. The carefully designed show layout and ticketing platform will help create a safe environment for all visitors and will allow them to focus on spending quality time with exhibitors. Tickets will be limited and are expected to be booked up quickly.
