Italy-based yacht builder Riva has announced the launch of the first 25-metre Riva 82 Diva yacht motor yacht in La Spezia. Riva 82 Diva yacht will join the growing fleet of Riva flybridge yachts which includes the Riva 90 Argo, the Riva 102 Corsaro Super, the Riva 110 Dolcevita and the Riva 130 Bellissima.
The Riva 82 Diva yacht showcases the unmistakable design of Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, in collaboration with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
The saloon of the Riva 82 Diva yacht includes a cockpit-level living space with a panoramic dining area. The galley is at the forward end of the main deck and is designed either to be closed off or to open out onto the dining area in order to create a seamless space.
The Riva 82 Diva yacht can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests across a four stateroom layout including a full-beam owner’s suite aft with ensuite bathroom. The crew quarters are located amidships and accessed by a dedicated walkway to guarantee complete privacy for both the owner and guests.
Her 40 square-metre flybridge is one of the largest on a yacht of this size and helps to bring guests closer to their surroundings. This large deck allows for a dedicated lounge with a dinette and bar in the centre, protected by a carbon fibre hard top with glass panels.
The flybridge deck of the Riva 82 Diva yacht is completed with a sunbathing area forward and another lounge area aft, while her spacious stern beach club is characterised by two large bulwarks that swing down to create lateral terraces.
In the centre of the beach club, under the large sundeck, a garage can accommodate a tender of up to 3.45-metres and a Seabob. Forward of the beach club is the raised cockpit, fitted with sea-view facing sofas, providing an unprecedented living area of nearly 35 square-metres.
The Riva 82 Diva is characterised by higher and safer lateral gunwales with painted composite profiles instead of traditional stainless steel handrails. Paired with twin MAN V12 1800 engines, she can reach a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26.
She also offers the option to install twin MAN V12 1900 engines for a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots. The first hull will make her official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023.
