Sarp Yachts has launched the second hull of the XSR Series. The 26-metre Sarp XSR 85 motor yacht launched earlier this month and features an advanced hybrid propulsion system.
The motor yacht showcases exterior design meticulously crafted by Red Yacht Design, while her interior is the work of Art Line and her naval architecture stemmed from the drawing boards of Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Up to eight guests can be accommodated across the yacht’s four staterooms, with space for four crew members.
A notable feature onboard the Sarp yacht is the extensive use of glass throughout the hull and superstructure, creating an open floor plan. The motor yacht displays a spacious layout, with a full-beam owner’s suite situated on the lower deck aft, featuring walk-in-wardrobes and an opulent ensuite. The remaining accommodation includes a twin guest stateroom to port, a starboard guest stateroom and a full-beam VIP suite. The VIP suite also houses a large walk-in-wardrobe and ensuite that can be transformed into a TV lounge when needed.
Designed with entertainment in mind, the main deck aft displays an extensive lounge area for guests to enjoy, leading seamlessly into the main saloon. The large hydraulic swim platform allows easy access to and from the water, while guests can take in their oceanic views from the bar and lounge area on the flybridge deck.
Regarding performance, the Sarp XSR 85 motor yacht is powered by twin MAN engines featuring twin generators and electric motors. The yacht houses solar panels that charge batteries for the hotel load, while the hybrid battery bank gains power from the generators and electric motors. The yacht can operate silently on batteries, enhancing the sense of comfort onboard. The motor yacht can reach a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots.
