Heesen has announced the launch of its 50-metre Steel Class superyacht, now christened Cinderella Noel IV.
Owned by a passionate skipper, the superyacht officially began construction in October 2021 and has had "every aspect" tailored to the owner's "close involvement and personal understanding of life at sea." Onboard features include reinforced insulation (for operating in high northern fjords and waterways), heated floors, winter tents and mosquito nets.
With an exterior penned by Clifford Denn Yachts, Cinderella Noel IV 's extensive customisation includes a hybrid propulsion system – a first-time installation for Heesen – alongside a second steering position on the flybridge and a foldable mast for navigating bridge passages.
Conceived for extended stays with his and hers working spaces, the owners worked closely with Luca Dini Design and Architecture and Heesen's engineering team on the yacht's layout. Interior imagery has not been released, but the décor has been described as "Scandinavian chic" by the shipyard, designed largely for ease of maintenance. Details include high-gloss Indian rosewood, dark oak flooring and loose furniture from Cassina, Paola Lenti and Toso.
Cinderella Noel IV is powered by twin MTU 8V4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) engines, paired with with 135kW Danfoss electric motors on the same propeller shaft. This allows the yacht to operate in one of three modes – silent, economy and cruising. Silent mode is effective at up to 8.5 knots.
"Cinderella Noel IV is imbued in every detail with the owners' passion and experience. The energy they have put into creating a yacht that perfectly suits their lifestyle is impressive," explained Mark Cavendish, Heesen's CCO. "The design and build of this 'Smart Custom' yacht has been a wonderful experience for us all at the shipyard, building a yacht that will create lasting memories for this unique family. We are truly honoured they entrusted us with such a special project."
The news follows Project Setteesettanta's recent construction milestone, set to become the "crown jewel in Heesen's fleet".
