Mangusta: Launch of the second Mangusta Oceano 39
Mangusta: Launch of the second Mangusta Oceano 39

The second unit of the new Mangusta Oceano 39 series (the entry-level in the Mangusta Oceano displacement line), built in composite material at the Viareggio shipyard for an American owner, was launched on 6 May.

The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a three-decker designed by the shipyard's technical department together with designer Alberto Mancini and in cooperation with the Verme design firm, who took care of naval engineering. Form, content, and generous volumes (330 GT) are blended together in an innovative and distinctive way on this yacht: the minimal look of the all-glass gunwales on the upper deck is the epitome of a new ‘seamless lifestyle’ revolving around the pure pleasure of cruising the seas.

And truly seamless is the continuity between interiors and exteriors, ensured by the large floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces found on the main and upper decks.

The final outcome is a real ‘villa on the sea’ featuring all the elements that have made the Mangusta Oceano series an outstanding commercial success in the United States, as stated by Stefano Arlunno, Mangusta President Americas. While each of these elements is one of a kind, they are all defined by the shipyard as “Standard Mangusta Design Features”. Among them are the infinity pool at the bow and the aft area providing access to the beach house, where, at the push of a button, two side terraces at sea level open up to convert the aft platform converts into a pleasant relaxation area.

As usual, the interiors and layout are fully custom. On this unit, they were worked out by the shipyard's design team putting the Owner at the very heart of the entire design process.

This Mangusta Oceano 39 is fitted with 2 MTU 12V 2000 M86, 1700 HP long-range engines that allow her to reach a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range of 2,250 nautical miles. The next unit available for sale is expected to be delivered in spring 2026.
