A Cypriot Yacht wins the second place i-Novo Design Award

 The successful acceptance of the Smart1 series in the global market and the innovative idea which had each buyer arrange the layout of their yacht, led the company to adopt the 'modular design’ in other bigger models with the new product series SL (Smart Layout). 

 The SL702 model is the first boat of the SL series and it was presented for the first time in the show in Dusseldorf in January. Its main feature is its innovative options, which are offered so as to enable owners to arrange the stern and the cockpit seating, making the model suitable for a variety of uses while at the same time they offer multiple amenities, depending on the customer’s wishes. The SL702 model won the second place i-Novo Design Award in the competition, which took place during the show.

 In the SL702, as well as in all the other series models that will follow, the stern space is arranged with options from various parts that adjust the space, depending on the use and the amenities the customer desires. In a simple layout the stern can be offered with just the side seats, keeping the main space open for passage or for installing a standard size cooler. Otherwise, seats can be installed in various combinations, which fold in order to shape an 'L' or a 'U' seating space or to offer a second stern deckchair or to change the seats so as to look backwards instead of forwards.

 In addition, in the SL series there are various options for cockpit seating available, such as a weekender seat with accommodation amenities and a cooler storage or two separate revolving seats with a folding seat pillow for a standing navigation. 

 The list of options of the SL 702 is completed with many other options, which are either applied in a specific layout module or to the entire yacht, such as stern platforms, hardtop, bow sunbathing pillows and many more.   The variety of the options offered and the versatility provide the possibility to offer the yacht as a pure sport fisher with coolers, spaces for baits and storing fish, or as a luxury pleasure yacht with multiple uses and amenities.

 The favorable response that the company received from its modular design and the presentation of SL702 led to the faster development of two other models of the SL series, which are set to be officially announced in  Summer 2016.
