Dutch shipyard Van der Valk has announced that construction of the 27m flybridge motoryacht Anemeli nears completion. The project is on schedule and she will be delivered in the coming spring.
Designed by Guido de Groot and incorporating naval architecture by Jaron Ginton, Anemeli is one of the first Van der Valk yachts to feature a fast displacement hull design.
Her all-aluminium, round-bilged fast displacement hull with a bulb on the submerged section artificially extends the waterline. Combined with her engines, this offers a more than excellent level of speed and fuel efficiency, the builder claims.
In addition, Van der Valk says this 27m vessel, which combines the advantages of a flybridge motoryacht with lines similar to those of the raised pilothouse series, is characterised by a helm station on the main deck and a very large flybridge area.
