French yard Chantier Naval Couach has reinterpreted and updated its popular 3700 Sport model with lengthened lines and a stronger profile.
Six of these 37 metre all-GRP yachts have been delivered so far, but the new Couach 3700 Sport is a marked departure, with design cues taken from the world of luxury cars and contemporary architecture.
As the preliminary interior renderings below show, the décor is light and neutral with a blend of wood finishes, hand-crafted details and luxurious materials, all of which can be tailored to suit an owner’s tastes.
The changes aren’t just on the interior, as the French yard has added a sunbathing area to the foredeck, ideal for those seeking privacy when moored stern-to in the hottest Mediterranean marinas.
Back aft, the transom would be fitted with a spacious bathing platform, complete with a shower, parasol, diving board and swimming ladder, while the sheltered cockpit is just a few short steps away.
Power would come from a pair of 1,367hp MTU 12V4000 M90 engines for a top speed of 28 knots, while a gyroscopic stabiliser system ensures that the Couach 3700 Sport would deliver a smooth cruising experience at 25 knots.
