Under the leadership of President Ignatios Spanopoulos, the Group’s activities are centered around two key sectors: towage services and shipyard operations.
In the towage sector, IGMAR operates the largest privately owned tug fleet in Greece, providing round-the-clock support throughout the year across Greek and international waters. Its fleet of more than 15 fully equipped tugboats serves a wide range of operations, including harbor and ocean towage, salvage missions, emergency response and offshore support.
At the same time, through its shipyard facilities in Perama and Salamina, IGMAR delivers comprehensive shipbuilding, repair and refit services. The facilities are capable of accommodating vessels of up to 232 meters in length and 22,500 tons displacement, while offering specialized lifting solutions and technical support for both commercial fleets and high-end yachts.
